Jacket project

Hanger shot of the jacket I made whilst in London, a quick project. The fabric is nicer than it looks in the picture, it has an all over jaquard type of pattern. Below is the business end of the pattern I drafted for it, minus the sleeves, laid out on the fabric on the floor. Did I appreciate the cutting table I have at home whilst crawling round drawing, pinning, chalking and cutting! The pattern is destined for a bit more refinement and a second run through – its a can’t fail pattern. The flounce kicks fit problems to touch, and the only difficult part is keeping its curves smooth.
